Let's ume you take the same number of credits every semester and get nothing but A's starting next semester (and uming that the 2.9 includes this semester). The latest your can apply for some colleges is after one semester of senior year (that's too late for most good colleges). Your highest possible GPA at that point would be (2.9 * 3 + 4.0 * 4) / 7 = 3.52. Remember, all A's.
