What board game should I buy for my family?

I've never really played a lot of board games....only Monopoly and Scrabble. I'm having a few family members over for Christmas, and I want a fun game for all of us to play. The youngest of us is 18. I'm not looking for a strategy game...something more casual. I was thinking something like Malarky or Cranium. Does anyone have any suggestions?
