My husband is going to jail and need some advice?

His name is matt he is 18. A couple months after his bday he wrote some bad checks, He didn't know they were bad until later. it is over 300 dollars worth of bad checks. He has to have 3,000 dollars by today at 1. or he goes to jail for a year. He has two sons and a wife (me). I need to know if their is anything I can do to help him et out of this or how to make a payment plan? Or if he can say he is a youthful offender just please help me...
