Questions about studying abroad (Spain)???

Im going to be a freshman in college this fall and i know the best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in it. Im thinking of studying abroad in Spain the summer between my junior and senior year. There is a program at my college that ill do it through. Im wondering if anyone could tell me how their experience went. Did you learn the language. About how much did it cost? And any other important things you could tell me. Thanks
